Singer and composer Oleg Hakman: “I am still a romantic” on May 26, he is one of the creators and the permanent leader of the Rock-September. He wrote the hymn of HC Severstal and the unofficial anthem of the city. Now, according to Oleg, he feels a second wind and is working on creating his own new project. Our correspondent spoke about this and much more with the singer and composer Oleg Hakman.
About me ... the name Hakman is from my grandfather on my mother. He is an Estonian. His name was Friedrich Petrovich Khakman, and he came to Cherepovets with his family in the mid -fifties to build a metallurgical plant. He was the head of Sevzraklektromontazh-1, retired in a falcon, and was buried there. And when I was born, they left me the name Hakman. In the column "Father" I have a dash.
Mom died when I was four years old. I was brought up by my grandmother, she gave me to a music school. First in the class of button accordion, then there was a clarinet. Since I already had an primary musical education, I was taken to a military orchestra at a communication school. It was at this time that I met many famous Cherepovets musicians, for example with Sergey Fidelman.
When I received dismissal, I came to him at the Palace of Culture of the Builders, where his New Time group was based, and together we played music. And somehow took root. After some time, Sergey proposed organizing a new team, so the “breath of time” appeared. The group became super popular, it was impossible to get to dancing in the DKS where we played! From the people in the lobby there was no rest.
We were the first in the city to play "branded" songs, that is, songs of foreign groups. People from all over the city began to ride for dancing. Naturally, on other similar sites - in the old palace of metallurgists and the House of Culture - the people have become noticeably fewer. And at one point, the glory of Kobrin, the son of the then director of the House of Culture, came to us “for negotiations”.
He suggested switching to work for them. We had better in terms of equipment, but there were more opportunities in the House of Culture, and I decided to go there. But the most important thing is that the glory of Kobrin came with Alexander Bashlachev, and it was from that moment that our close cooperation began from the moment of my transition to the culture house.
At first, we organized a purely dance group “Dismaum-Styabr”, and Bashlachev wrote to us the chic trinkets of “branded” songs, just gorgeous! This was his first practice, on this he learned to feel the melody and intonation. And it turned out amazing!
And still these songs live, they are very harmonious. After all, not every poet can be a songwriter: one thing is just a poem, and quite another-with an already set temporite. Thanks to Sasha, we created a certain repertoire and performed with it at dancing. We were just reckless, but of course, I wanted something more. Time went forward, groups of the Rock Atelier type began to appear, “I am more melodist and singer, but agreed with the proposal of Slavka.
The problem was with instruments, it was just that they could not buy them. They purchased in various cunning ways: through the commission, from other groups, still somehow. For example, we bought an electric Piano Rhodes Piano Fender from one German group, flew after him in Yalta, where this group was on the tour at that time. After all, we understood that we need to grow, and without a normal “sound” this is impossible.
Yes, and we were, as they say, without a tower. So, listening to "proprietary" music, we will hear, it happened, any instrument-everything, we want! And no matter how much it costs, we will turn out, we will find it and buy it. And at that time we have gathered very decent equipment. It was cool! But the most important thing was that God brought us, obsessed with the music of people who were ready to put everything on her altar.
So, there were “Red Rose” festivals on which we performed, and Sasha urgently wrote texts for us for days and nights. Previously, it was not possible to record a song in parts, so we had to, taking a professional tape recorder from one friend, certainly gather all together and make a record. And Sasha was also supposed to be present, because in the course of the recording, adjustments to his texts were immediately made.
Technologically it was very difficult, the records lasted at night. Everything turned out not thanks, but contrary to. The controller was not normal, there was no pavilion! This is now artists like cheese in oil, they can write down the songs between smokers. It was a year about the Golden Camton. Through a friend, our team was invited to work in the Ulyanovsk Philharmonic - they had a shortage of musicians at that time, and they promised us tour of the country.
Naturally, it was very interesting for us to work on a professional scene. And we immediately shoot from the place, we take the apparatus and tools with us and leave for Ulyanovsk. Just at the time of our departure, Sasha Bashlachev read in Komsomolskaya Pravda that the newspaper, together with the company "Melody" organizes the All -Union Musical Competition of the Golden Cameron performers.Before leaving, we managed to record three songs for the competition-“Golden Cameron”, “If you want, I will” and “Disko-Robot”, they took them to Moscow, to the organizing committee.
Have we thought to win? I will say this: they didn’t hoped much, for they understood that among the five thousand participants our chances were small. But Sasha, who at that time working in the Communist newspaper, was very seriously about our participation. It so happened that we did not have time for the first round, but we managed to agree, and we were taken immediately to the second.
Having given the songs personally into the hands of the organizing committee, we went to tour. By the way, at this very time, we met with Theodor Efimov. He also collaborated with the Ulyanovsk Philharmonic and made a concert program for her, in which we participated as a rhythm group. In parallel, he was also engaged in the June - Premiere of Summer in Moscow with the participation of stars.
For example, the “Time Machine”, the performance of which in this program has already been announced throughout Moscow. Just with the “car, it is necessary that someone in this“ party ”soves his song, and he asked us. And the company, I will say, got very good: Nadezhda Babkina, Mikhail Zhvanetsky and others. And we already participated in the Moscow program of Todik as the accompanists of one jazz singer, so the proposal to sing Tver Boulevard also as a Rock-Styabr group was very pleasant for us.
In general, having played as accompanists, we later changed clothes and went out like “rock-September” and, in addition to the “boulevard,” sang three more of our songs. Gorky Park, Green Theater! Nine concerts! All Moscow came to watch. By the beginning of autumn, we returned to Cherepovets. After some time, a telegram from Moscow comes to the House of Culture, from the Golden Kamerton Organizing Committee: please send Rock-September to the final of the competition.
At first we took it at all as a joke. But what jokes - the official telegram! We began to gather in Moscow. The final of the Golden Kamonton should have been shown on central television. And there was already its own filter. Music music, how will you educate the people? We made our arrangement of this song and, a quotation, recorded it in a tone car, specially added on the occasion of the Golden Curton to Red Presnya.
“Dismaumhouses” were also recorded there. It was to him that the organizers from central television subsequently arose. Sasha Bashlachev rewrote the words of the song “Dismaumhousbody”, with which we had to come out in the final of the “Golden Cameron”, in one night. Just on the eve of the gala concert, people from the organizing committee came and said: you have a gorgeous hat, but the word “disco” does not suit us, and you cannot speak.
They thought they set an impossible task before Bashlachev. Sasha is a talent! He rewrote everything overnight! You can, of course, be in the pose, because we are already finalists, winners, and he simply took and did. The only problem was in me: I had to sing a song on a piece of paper. The shooting of the final concert themselves took place at the Orlenyok Hotel. And in the end we were cut out!
Too well, apparently, we performed for that time. We were cut out by Yura Shevchuk, who sang "what love knows about love."
