As a result, the scandal managed to hush up Kolotov with a repentant letter, where he “recognized mistakes”, and began to take military service in Dynamo.

Under the noise, the disqualification was reduced, by the beginning of the USSR championship the player has already left it. Most likely, it was not without the intervention of Vladimir Shcherbitsky. Shcherbitsky is always indifferent to the attitude to the main club of Ukraine, and probably took part in resolving the conflict. These passions sometimes boiled in Soviet football.
