A brief biography supposedly
The father of the poet Vasily Petrovich is a hereditary honorary citizen of the city, a merchant-psol who had great authority in merchant and noble circles. The mother of Praskovya Ivanovna was engaged in children and households. The family had daughters Maria, Anna, Alexander and Anisya. Alexey, after the death of his younger brother Vladimir, was the only son. This circumstance defined his fate as the successor of the merchant affairs of his father.
Since the year, the Koltsovs have been living in the best part of Voronezh, on Bolshaya noble street Prospekt Revolution, where a estate with a stone house and outbuilding was acquired near the residence of the governor Vasily Petrovich. When Alyosha was nine years old, a seminarist was hired for his literacy. He prepared the boy for admission to the district school. Here, Alexei studied arithmetic and grammar, Latin and German, drawing, the law of God.
Together with him, sixteen noble children, six merchants and one peasant son studied in the classroom. Even before the school, he had a passion for reading. In the educational institution, Alexei made friends with the son of the merchant Vargin. There was a large library in their family. Now Alexei read the “thick” novels, and re -read the fairy tales “Thousands and One Night” several times.
In the year, a friend and Vargin also dies, fulfilling the last request of his son, gives Koltsov 70 books. They became his personal library, and throughout the whole life the poet was often replenished with new specimens. In the second year, his son’s studies Vasily Petrovich, allegedly deciding that he needed an assistant, took Alyosha from the school. It was unlikely that this was the main reason, because the eldest Koltsov had at least five clerks and, as you know, he provided his daughters with full education in a private boarding house.
From the age of eleven, Alexei begins to be sent with business notes to merchants and shopping. Under the leadership of Vasily Petrovich, he studies everything that Prasol needs: from shepherd’s skill to the rules for negotiating with land owners and various trade operations. At the age of 16, in the bazaar, he buys a collection of poems by the popular poet Ivan Dmitriev. This book literally lit Alexei's desire to compose poems.
His first poem was called "three visions." Two years later, in a notebook, entitled "Exercise of Alexei Koltsov in verses since October 1 day. Selected the best and fixed. The year was rewritten, Marta 20 days ”, 36 poems have already been recorded. He read his poems to a friend, seminarian Andrei Serebryansky, he trusted his opinion very much. Koltsov allowed him to edit and destroy those texts if Andrei considered them unsuccessful.
At eighteen, Alexei became a partner of his father, begins to receive and spend his part of income. With his active participation, the family business has grown. Now it was not only prasolism and logging, but also the trade in pork, sheepskin, skin, wool, cultivation and sale of wheat. At the same time, Koltsov, on the basis of poetry, converges with the owner of the book shop Dmitry Kashkin.
Dmitry Antonovich gave him a book with the rules of the poem “Russian Prosodia” and began to invite to literary meetings. In the year, in one of the business trips, Koltsov meets Nikolai Stankevich - the son of a wealthy landowner and leader of the nobility of the Ostrogozhsky district of the Voronezh province. He studied at Moscow University, where he founded the literary and philosophical circle that went down in history.
Alexei's poems made a strong impression on Stankevich. He took with him to Moscow a notebook with Koltsov’s poems. Several verses from the presentation of Nikolai Stankevich were published in the newspaper Listov and the Literary Newspaper in the year, and in the year they were published by a separate collection of “Poems by A. Koltsov” eighteen works. By that time, Koltsov’s poems were popular in the city.
Alexei read them at the literary evenings, and they spread among the Voronezh residents on manuscript lists. The release of the collection brought Alexei Vasilievich fame in Russia, and in Voronezh raised the level of respect for him, already published by the author and became the starting point of patronage by Governor Dmitry Nikitich Begichev. But not only as the poet was known by Alexei Koltsov, but also as a merchant who arranges folk festivities in the villages of Voronezh and neighboring provinces, where his large team from clerks, shepherds, hairy and other workers rested from long -term distillations of livestock.
Senior Koltsov was then very pleased with the activity of his son and appreciated the appearance of a book as an event that could positively affect the development of family business. The first time Alexey Koltsov visited Moscow in the year. Nothing is known about this trip, we can only assume that it was connected with the transfer of knowledge and experience to Vasily Petrovich, who repeatedly traded cattle there.
In the year, Alexei, already as a representative of his father for litigation, went to Moscow and then - for the first time to St. Petersburg. He passed bureaucratic circles from the district court to the Government of the Senate and won all the processes. That's just one thing from the whole list of lawsuits solved in favor of Koltsov. In the year, Vasily Petrovich rented 12 years more hectares of land near the peasants of the village of Bolshaya Privalovka, Voronezh district.
The land was not received, and the Koltsovsky money was spent, and no one was going to return it. Other things were no less complicated. In the capitals, Alexei Vasilievich met with many famous writers, poets and composers, visited a poetic evening V. Zhukovsky, was with an outstanding artist K. Bryullov and a frequent guest of literary salons. The main success of the trip, according to Alexei Vasilyevich, was that he met Pushkin and they had a long conversation in the poet’s apartment.
Starting from the year, Koltsov’s poems are published by the magazines “Contemporary”, “Telescope”, “Son of the Fatherland”, “Moscow Observer”, “Domestic Notes”, as well as the almanacs “Morning Dawn” and “Collection”. From St. Petersburg to Voronezh, Alexei Vasilievich returned surrounded by a halo of glory, with a decent number of books presented by new acquaintances.
A little later, father came from Moscow. He was there on trade matters. Vasily Petrovich handed over to his son all business, it was also decided not to invest his own money in prasolism and gradually move away from this case, and start building a profitable house on these funds on the main street of Voronezh. During the absence of the owners of the case, the clerks were launched.
Alexei understood that now all the responsibility lies with it and quickly put things in order in the merchant economy, having been in the steppe near the cattle and in logging, took part in the plowing of rented lands under the sowing of winter winter grounds, checked the work of the cattle -bearing and wood warehouses. In the summer of the year, an event took place, raising the authority of Alexei Koltsov among the townspeople.
Arsenyev and poet V. spent all the free time Zhukovsky with Koltsov. The whole city saw how the famous poet and teacher of the heir to the throne walked with Alexei Vasilyevich. Together they attended the educational institutions of Voronezh. In December of that year, Koltsov went to the capital. The main goal of the trip was again petitions for new lawsuits. For almost six months, Koltsov lived first in Moscow, then in St.
Petersburg and again in Moscow. He will write to Belinsky from Voronezh: "These last two months have cost me more than five years of Voronezh life." It is not a matter of mathematics, it is only an image of that great concentration of the events of literature, music and painting in his life, which Alexei Koltsov once again experienced. Communication with writers, artists and composers gave the poet a powerful surge of creative energy and increasingly strengthened him in the desire to leave the world of provincial merchants.
But at the same time, every year the welfare of the family and son of the debt was the increasing obstacle to the departure. Meanwhile, due to the lack of Alexei, things in the hands of the father-Starik were significantly staggered. Alexey Vasilievich began to correct them, but with poorly hidden neglect, which caused the discontent of Vasily Petrovich. The relationship between them and the refusal of Alexei worsened between them to get married to a beautiful girl from a rich merchant family and wanted to become the poet’s wife.
It should be noted that from his father the son had not only a merchant grip, but hard and, even one might say, stubborn. Therefore, scandals and cooling in relations with Vasily Petrovich could be long. And yet, only Alexei was allowed to argue with his father, all the other members of the family meekly obeyed him. But not only Alexei Vasilievich quarreled with his father.
The metropolitan life changed the poet. He ceased to consider many of the good acquaintances as such, he was arrogant with them, and they ultimately stopped talking with Koltsov. Younger cattle purchased with the money of creditors fell from the disease. There was no meat sales, respectively. The time has come to the father to pay on loans, about 20 thousand rubles, and there is nowhere to take them.
All personal funds were in circulation. Fearing a police persecution, Vasily Petrovich first hid at friends in the city, and then in the villages in the province. He returned home a month later, when Alexey raised part of the money for bills. Thanks to the merchant giving of Alexei Vasilievich, by the fall, the debt decreased to rubles. The trading resourcefulness of his son was so touched by his father that he decided to give funds to publish a collection of poems.
Only not in cash, but by income from the sale of livestock in Moscow. The younger Koltsov had long wanted to release the second collected works and was looking for funds for this, but the eldest considered that after the financial situation of the year, the release of the collection would bring new benefits to the family business, as happened after the appearance of the book in the year.
According to some biographers of Koltsov, in the year Alexei Vasilievich went unhealthy to the capital, and that a long stupid there with a non -moderate lifestyle, improper treatment in Moscow exacerbated the disease. The main goal of the trip was to achieve the end of two court cases, one in Moscow, the other in St. Petersburg, and in addition, to sell two gurts of cattle into their heads.
But Alexei Vasilyevich also had his own thought of the trip - to stay in one of the capitals and get out of the family business. Shortly before that, he received two offers. The first from Belinsky is to lead the bookstore created by sales of shares.
