The film about a four -year -old girl who was lost in the harsh taiga became a record holder for fees in Yakutia, collecting a million tenge 50 million rubles. There are no precedents in the world for a four -year -old child to survive in the forest for 12 days. After meeting with Karina herself, I immediately realized that I had to make a film. I made this decision just a few seconds after communicating with this extraordinary girl. What scenes were emotionally heavy for you? The most emotionally complex, probably, was the episode in the swamp.

Work with children and animals in such extreme conditions was a real challenge. Rehearsals are one thing, and field shootings are completely different. Especially when the child and the puppy were together in the frame. I am very grateful to the entire film crew, actors, understudies and zoopsychologists for their work and patience. Even a small grain of faith can save life.

There is nothing more important than human life and its value. This is a striking result, given that the number of Sakhas of the Yakuts around the world does not exceed thousands, and in Yakutia itself, of course, lives even less. Türkiye is the center of the cinema of the Turkic world. Here I made a new documentary, I work on the post -production of another films. These are natural steps to expand the company's activities.

I am especially impressed by the atmosphere of Turkish cinema: it somewhat reminiscent of the spirit of Yakut cinema-a family, spiritual situation. In addition, all major international companies are represented here, such as Netflix, Amazon and Fox, and production here is of high quality. A week - January 23 - rental in Kyrgyzstan will begin. In addition, the film will be presented on world streaming platforms. In addition, the film has a good festival path of the year. Photo: provided by the press office of Karina-why did you decide to organize rental in Kazakhstan? Earlier there were small releases of my films: in the year - “My killer”, and in m - “Ichchi”.

But then the rental was organized by Russian distributors, and there were practically no marketing work. This time we act without intermediaries. Perhaps the Kazakh viewer used to get acquainted with festival films from Yakutia, but to me as a producer who primarily analyzes statistics, it is especially interesting how our project is perceived, focused on a wide audience.

Will there be dubbing in the Kazakh language? This time it was not possible to do dubbing in the Kazakh language. The translation into the Kazakh language was performed by Amir Amenov, and Nurgul Shubaeva acted as an editor. I want to express my gratitude to them for professionalism and contribution to our project! What are the similarities between our cinema cultures?

Karin Biography Film

Of course, I watched Akana Sataev’s films. In general, the cinema world is very small. You always meet and get acquainted with colleagues on film markets and film festivals. For example, in the year on Filmart, the largest Asian film market in Hong Kong I was very happy when I saw the stand of Kazakhstan, and immediately went to get acquainted. In the year, on EFM under Berlinal, the European film market was presented and was not far from my stand.

I have close cooperation with Kazakhstani companies. Also on this project we worked on action scenes with the Nomad Stunts team under the leadership of Zhaidarbek Kunguzhinov. The similarity between our cultures is noticeable: this is the Turkic code transmitted by the ancestors, love of nature, traditions and internal freedom. This is a special energy that is felt in both cinema.

At the end of the summer of the year, before the onset of the cold Yakut autumn, Karin disappears. Family, volunteers and rescuers get off their feet, combing hundreds of kilometers of forest. And at this time, the child is barefoot, without warm clothes, with the dog wanders along the taiga, full of blood -sucking insects and dangerous predators. Search engines find traces and evidence, but this does not bring them closer to the goal.

It takes 12 days, and even the most experienced rescuers lose hope to find Karina alive ... to copy the link.
