Dmitry Ponomarchuk Biography
ASTANCHANING with a unique profession spoke about the intricacies of his business on June 14, Dmitry Ponomarchuk is a man of a rare profession: he is an architect-ladder. The master creates models of architectural objects in which all details are conveyed surprisingly accurately. For example, part of the architect’s works can be seen today in Almaty in the hall of the spiritual and cultural center named after Metropolitan Joseph Chernov, in the territory of the Iver-Serafimovsky convent.
For an exhibition of layouts of Kazakhstani cathedrals “Temple - Heaven on Earth”, Dmitry made several models. The exhibition presents 11 models built in different years of temples - these are famous existing temples of the Kazakhstani metropolis. Three objects from the exhibition are projects of future temple complexes: the Cathedral in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Taldykorgan, the temple complex in honor of all saints in Astana, the Holy Pre -Pre -Procedic Cathedral in Petropavlovsk.
Some models are equipped with an electronic filling that reproduces the bell ringing and backlight. Dmitry Ponomarchuk lives and works in Astana. It was he who ordered the most complex layouts.
And he performed them at the highest level of accuracy. After graduating from the Lyceum, I already entered the agricultural university at the architectural department. The first layout in which I took part was the mock -up of the temple - it was the thesis of the five -year students, I then studied in the first year and for me it was an honor to participate in the thesis, to get such an experience, because the thesis necessarily included the layout of the designed object.
Thus, this layout has become a starting point in my future profession. At the end of the institute, participating in an international competition, he received a second degree diploma. So this path began! This profession differs in that while you are doing work, you are at the same time studying because there are no identical layouts. If you applied something in one layout, then in another such a technique may not be useful.
And so certain skills appear with experience. And I am very happy and proud that my work participated in the implementation of many projects, design ideas for the good of our homeland. It is at this stage that architectural skills and knowledge are needed! But the most important and very responsible was the work on the layouts of the temples of Kazakhstan. In this case, the work of a team of specialists represented by the customer - the UCPEVO public charitable foundation - helped to realize all this!
A very large work was done, in which each of us was invested. The customer’s trust is one of the largest awards for any handicraft work, and the layouts are the product of the very craft that gives people positive emotions, allows the viewer to consider the object from a “bird’s flight”, help to deal with the architectural idea, in the end, see his future home, apartment or some interesting art object of the interior.
The main thing is that you do it with pleasure, the result depends on this. I would like to note that I am grateful to fate for every work that I had to do, because part of my soul is invested in each. Perhaps in the future I will transfer what I have accumulated over these years of work. The Holy Voznesensky Cathedral in the city of Almaty - how you are preparing, tuning up for such work - I need to get together with my thoughts.
This is always not easy, you need to be distracted from everything and go completely into work - one of the most difficult tasks. In addition, to work on the layouts of the temples, I received a blessing - the head of the Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan - Metropolitan Alexander, as well as Father Sergius, the rector of the Holy Council in Almaty. It was after this that he began to make such complex objects.
The Holy Kazan Cathedral - How long does it take to manufacture one layout of the temple? How many layouts of the most diverse buildings, objects have you done? Ten years ago, I even tried to make a list of work I have done, at that time there were more than two hundred, since then I did not count anymore. But the layout of the temple is a sacred product in something? The temple complex in honor of all Kazakhstani saints in the city of Astana - what equipment, tools, materials do you use in work?
It was a long way - trial and errors - a length in life. And I still have to study and study. After all, when you look at the masterpieces of the craft labor of our ancient masters, you understand how far we are with such modern equipment before them. Each building, presented at the exhibition of the layout “Temple - Heaven on Earth”, unique in architectural solution.
The churches survived in all trials, today they still have a service. Each of the temples is with its own amazing story. So, the oldest Orthodox cathedral of Kazakhstan in Uralsk has a summer story, it was built in honor of the Archangel Michael. Mikhailo -Arkhangelsk Cathedral had a lot to survive - to burn and rebuild again, to be an eyewitness to the Pugachevsky uprising, to please the meat grinder of anti -religious stripping in the Soviet Union. But, having survived everything, having survived, the building to this day is with us.
Today it is a great historical and cultural value of Western Kazakhstan. In Uralsk, the famous Cathedral of Christ the Savior is also standing. On his laying and consecration on July 31, the heir to the throne, future emperor Nicholas II, was attended by the heir. The authors of the project were an architect from St. Petersburg V. The famous temple of the Prophet Elijah in the city of Zharkent is an architectural monument.
It was built in the year by Sergey Troparevsky, architect of the Semirechensky regional government. The Zharkent Temple of the Prophet Elijah was built earlier than the Ascension Cathedral, and here the old masonry furnace has been preserved to this day. Galina Galkina, APN.
