Biography David Weiss
Katrinbelous, June 9. The time of action: but who will say better than the author himself about what his creation is about? The author tried to write about Mozart as Mozart himself wrote his works - extremely simple and clear; He sought to portray him without prejudice, without timidity and flattery, the way he was. Mozart's music - this is what inspired the author in the work on the book all these years.
And if the stormy and vain existence of the whole human race can find an excuse in the creations of one person, then Mozart was undoubtedly such a person. I plunged into the world of music of the 18th century, I spent days in heart -to -heart conversations with a great composer, followed him along the streets of Salzburg, Vienna, Munich at the court of the French king, the Austrian Empress, the English prince and German Elector.
I learned a lot of new classical music from the world, about how the score is written about how symphonies are created and operas are placed. I met closer to many famous people of that time and composers. Beethoven, Bach, Haydn, Salieri, were not counted before my eyes. All the time I read Weiss, I listened to classic compositions and discovered a lot of new and previously lost in the world of beautiful and elevated music.
I again and now forever fell in love with Mozart’s music and he took a place of honor next to my favorite composer - Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
I would like to express my gratitude to the author of this work. Weiss created a miracle, he was able to revive the real Mozart. I had a feeling that I was not reading a work of art, but the composer himself tells me about his life. I immediately caught his image, he clearly outlined in my head, I saw his gestures, his facial expressions, felt bitterness and irony in his words. Mozart stood in front of me while reading as alive.
And it seems like the text is written so simply, not intricate, but although I understand that for this he needed many years to study that era, music and his hero to write such a work. He tried to prevent fiction anywhere, he used real confirmed facts from the diaries and letters of the people living then. According to his work, one can not only study the biography of Mozart, but also get a complete idea of the cultural and not only the life of Austria of the 18th century.
Usually when I read the book, I immediately write a review without postponing for later. More than a month has passed since reading the “sublime and earthly”, and I still could not force myself to write at least a line, open a book and re -read my favorite moments in notes. I was so imbued with this work, so the image of Mozart was close and dear to me that I took everything that was happening to him too close to my heart.
And now it’s hard for me to remember his whole life that flashed before my eyes on the pages of this book. I was so rejoiced at his victories, I was happy with his achievements and recognition of his genius, I was sad when he began to overcome the failures and life hardships, I was indignant at the pupid of the people who surrounded him and had the impudence of insulting, I was terribly upset when his life path came to an end.
I have no words to express how close to me the nature of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is close to me. He was a noble, generous, disinterested and sincere person. A brilliant composer and virtuoso musician who has been ahead of his age for many centuries. I bless that happy and completely unexpected case when this book fell into my hands, it was a real immersion in the true and most beautiful music that has ever sounded.
And now, thanks to Weis, I apologize for high -pair words, but it is, it will always sound in my heart. Grade:
