The ideas to create excursion trails underground, where everyone could examine the underground sights of the capital, hung in the air for a long time, but the launch of excursions on the collector system of the Nebline River became real know-how.

Nobody simply made such excursions in Moscow before that. For a long time, the only route was a guide on Neglinnaya. In essence, I was the ideological inspirer of excursions. In the project itself, people changed: this happened due to the fact that someone at a certain moment was fond of speleology or parachute sports, left Diggerism, someone, on the contrary, could join the project for some short time and provide timely assistance when it was necessary, and then distracted, do something else.

Our excursions immediately attracted the attention of the media. I remember there were completely fantastic television projects, when, for a whole week, daily in the evening release of news, we went live from the ground 4 times a hour. There were shootings with the Discovery television channel, a meeting under the ground, on which I brought a saxophone to the collector and played Jingle Bels ...

This was still in x. However, a holy place is not empty, and soon other diggers began to appear, who also wanted to conduct tours of Neglinka. It was necessary to do something, somehow grow to earn a quality mark and stand out against the general background. I want to emphasize that I have been drawn from childhood, and any information about the underground history of the city became a real find, which immediately fell into my guide piggy bank.

However, the accumulation of historical material was slow. I decided to make another route along the collector system, which is not located in the center: there is more water, waterfalls are noisy, and, most importantly, there was no one in Neglinka then the first graffiti on the walls began to appear. But then I ran into another problem: the tour of the new system needed to lead, that is, 2.

It was easier to work in Neglinka in this regard, people rejoiced that they were there at all. Therefore, several inserts of travel and engineering information for the tour were already enough. But the new route in an unknown collector system had a huge impact on me, it was on it that I began to develop as a Moscow lead, as a guide. The clock spent on books in libraries and archives was not in vain.

For an excursion underground, I simply did not have time to tell the audience everything that I learned about the underground Moscow new and interesting. Finally, I decided to make a ground route that the children and the elderly, who are also interested in dungeons, could come to. It turned out that for a story about the dungeons, it is not necessary to descend underground, in general: in Moscow there are many places and objects related to the history of the underground development of the city.

So ordinary pedestrian excursions in the center began to appear, dedicated to my favorite topic - underground Moscow. I already refused Neglinka at that time. It’s not enough pleasant - to conduct excursionists on broken bottles, past painted walls and periodically meet with half -drunk people. Imagine, at some point in the system it became so! In the year, they asked to give a first lecture on the dungeons!

I was preparing, worried, even sleeping that night badly. I haven’t had to give lectures yet! But everything went well. Again, books, writing radio texts, preparation ... The heading went out every hour, ten times a day: there was a lot of material. But it was insanely pleasant and interesting. On the radio, I worked a little less than a year, struck the next crisis, the radio station was closed, at the very moment when the leadership has already approved my author’s program about the dungeons!

In the year Podzemly. Together with the prison and his leader Mikhail Savkin, we monitor the ecological condition of the small rivers of Moscow, we arrange raids with news television channels to identify malicious violators carrying out illegal discharge, help unitary enterprises, inform, warn, tell. We are supported by the Department of the Government of the city of Moscow, the Department of Cultural Heritage of the city of Moscow, historical and geographical societies and many other organizations that are not known for our activities.

Ru is no longer just “excursions underground”, as it was many years ago. Now we are a real educational project, with regular excursions, lectures, research.
